Release date & price

Xiaomi announced both Note 10 and Note 10 Pro on March 04 at their global conference. They released them on March 16 globally. Prices are without the doubt the best thing when it comes to Redmi phones. Redmi Note 10 costs only $200 and the Pro version is expected to be around $250. These phones will give you all-around a great balance of performance and design for a fairly cheap price.

Unboxing

Xiaomi kept it simple for the packaging of the new Note 10 series since the packaging is nothing more than a simple white box. In there besides the phone, you will find a silicone case, 33W fast charger, and USB cable. Though the case is not the most premium one it’s really good that Xiaomi offers that kind of protection out of the box.

Specifications

Display

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. This incredible display has an 83.5% screen to body ratio and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the other hand, the Pro version will have the same but bigger 6.67-inch Display. It also comes with a slightly bigger screen-to-body ratio which is 85.6%, 120HZ refresh rate, and also a better Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Camera

They both come with quad-camera setups on the back. The basic Note 10 series is equipped with a 48MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth camera. Oppositely, the Pro version of the Note 10 series has slightly better cameras on the back: 108MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro, and 2MP depth camera. Both of them are capable of shooting 4k videos at 30fps. On the front Note 10 comes with a 13MP selfie camera, and Note 10 Pro has a better 16MP selfie camera. Both selfie cameras feature HDR and panorama mode and are capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30 fps.

Configuration

In terms of configuration, the only big difference is chipsets. Note 10 comes with a Snapdragon 678 which is considered a low-end chipset, while the Note 10 Pro comes with a Snapdragon 732G which is considered a good mid-range chipset. They come with either Adreno 612 or Adreno 618 depending on which model you got. Both of the graphics will work well but Adreno 618 is much better than the GPU in the base model. Note 10 comes with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of storage. On the other hand, Note 10 Pro comes with 6GB / 8GB of ram and 64GB / 128GB of storage. Storage shouldn’t be the problem with either of these phones because it’s expandable through a micro sd card.

Battery capacity

Both phones come with 5000 mAh Li-Po batteries, to be precise Note 10 Pro comes with 5020 mAh but that extra 20 mAh doesn’t make any difference. These huge batteries both support 33W fast charging, making recharges from 0%-100% in just around 70min. In terms of battery life Note 10 will have a slightly better performance because of the weaker chipset but the difference will be negligible.

AnTuTu Benchmark

AnTuTu Benchmark is the best way to define how powerful a telephone is. It gives your phone a numerical score based on its specifications. People use it for comparing your device’s speed and performance with other cell phones on the market. According to pieces of information from AnTuTu Benchmark, Redmi Note 10 Pro got a score of around 277k and Note 10 Pro got a score of around 291k. We can see that there is a slight performance boost that you get buying the Note 10 Pro instead of Note 10.

OnePlus 9 series will arrive with an LTPO display, QHD+ resolution, and 120HZ
