Price

Xiaomi Redmi 10X has been released on May 26, 2020- in 3 color variants: Black, Green, White. On the other hand, Xiaomi released Redmi 10X Pro 5G on June 06, 2020- in 3 color variants: Blue, Gold, Pink/Blue. Redmi 10X is priced $200 while the Pro version price is around $300.

Specifications

Display

Xiaomi Redmi 10X 4G comes with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display having a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 and aspect ratio 19.5:9. It has great viewing angles, the pixel density of 395PPI, and 83.5% screen-to-body ratio. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protects the screen. On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 10X Pro 5G comes with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display having a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has great viewing angles, pixel density of 401 PPI, and 83.7% screen-to-body ratio. The screen and the back are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Camera

Xiaomi Redmi 10X has a quad rear camera system. It has a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth camera. Redmi 10X can shoot videos on 1080p at 30fps. It also has a 13MP selfie camera.

Xiaomi Redmi 10X Pro also has a quad rear camera system. 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and 5MP macro camera. It can also record videos on 4K at 30 fps and 1080p at 30/60fps. It has a single 20MP selfie camera.

Configuration

New Xiaomi Redmi 10X phone has MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which is a great mid-class chipset. It will handle both gaming and everyday usage without problems. Redmi 10X has a Mali-G52 GPU, which is good for graphical effects. It comes in 2 variants: 4GB RAM / 128 GB storage, 6GB RAM / 128GB storage. Both of them will handle multitasking easily. Storage won’t be a problem since storage is expandable through SD card.

On the other hand, Redmi 10X Pro 5G has MediaTek MT6875 chipset, which is a better mid-class 5G chipset. It will handle both gaming and everyday usage easily. It has a Mali-G57 GPU, which is great for graphical effects. It also comes in 2 versions: 8GB RAM / 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM / 256 GB storage. Both of them will handle multitasking easily. Storage shouldn’t be a problem because it’s also expandable through SD card.

Battery

Redmi 10X comes with a Li-Po 5020 mAh battery, which should provide you about 2 days of usage. It has an 18W fast charging technology, so it should recharge your battery in around 1-2 hours. It does not support wireless charging, but it has reverse 9W charging through USB cable.

Redmi 10X Pro 5G comes with a Li-Po 4520 mAh battery, which should provide you about 1-2 days of usage. It has a 33W fast charging technology, so it should recharge your battery in less than an hour.

AnTuTu benchmark

AnTuTu is a Benchmark app for android users. It gives your device an overall numerical score as well as an overall score for each test it performs. It’s useful for comparing your device’s speed and performance with other options on the market.

According to AnTuTu scores, Xiaomi Redmi 10X got a score of 205946 which is better than 83% of the phones. While Redmi 10X Pro 5G got a score of 415672 which is better than 93% of the phones.

Which one you should buy?

Xiaomi Redmi 10X Pro 5G is much better than Redmi 10X 4G but it also comes with a higher price. So if you have a higher budget we recommend you buy 10X Pro since it’s one of the cheapest 5G phones right now. But if you want to save some money and get a great budget phone you should buy Redmi 10X.
