Xiaomi Black Shark 4 and 4 Pro: Release date still unknown

Xiaomi announced their new Black Shark 4 series yesterday on March 23. For now, specifications and price are well known but the release date is still unrevealed. There are two models coming Black Shark 4 with a starting price of just $400 and Black Shark 4 Pro starting at around $600. Black Shark 4 comes in 4 color variants: Magic Black, Black, Blue, and Silver. 4 Pro on the other hand comes in 3 color variants: Black, Dark Blue, and Silver.

Specifications

Display

Xiaomi Black Shark 4 series will arrive with an incredible 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display, with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. This superior display has a refresh rate of 144HZ which will make gaming better than ever. Phones themselves have a screen to body ratio of 85.8%.

Camera

The camera is not a crucial factor when buying a gaming phone but it is good to know that Black Shark 4 series is equipped with some serious camera system. Black Shark 4 comes with a triple camera setup on the back: 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 5MP macro camera. The only difference between the basic and pro model is in the main camera since the pro comes with a 64MP main camera instead of a 48MP one. These telephones are both capable of shooting 4k videos at 60fps as well as 1080p videos at up to 240fps. On the front, both of them have a single 20MP selfie camera, that features HDR mode and can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps.

Configuration

Black Shark 4 is powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, one of the best 5G chipsets Qualcomm has to offer. On the other hand, 4 Pro is a real flagship device since it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, the best chipset Android world currently has. The basic model of the Black Shark 4 series comes with up to 12GB of RAM, and the pro has up to 16GB of RAM. In terms of storage, Black Shark 4 comes with up to 256GB while the Black Shark 4 Pro comes with up to 512GB of storage. When choosing storage think twice since storage is not expandable.

120W Fast Charging

Both of them come with a 4500 mAh battery. But battery capacity isn’t the best thing when it comes to this phone’s battery it is 120W fast charging. With that fast charging, this phone will recharge from 0%-100% in just 17minutes.

AnTuTu Benchmark is the best way to define how powerful a telephone is. It gives your phone a numerical score based on its specifications. People use it for comparing your device’s speed and performance with other cell phones on the market. According to some rumors about AnTuTu Benchmark scores, Black Shark 4 will have a score of around 680k and Black Shark 4 Pro will have a score of around got a score of around 788k. We can see that there is a slight performance boost that you get buying the Pro instead of the basic version.
