Vivo announced the new Vivo X60 and X60 Pro on December 29 2020 and released them on January 08 this year. Vivo X60 comes in 3 color variants: Gray, Aurora, and White. On the other hand, Vivo X60 Pro comes without the White color option. Vivo X60 series is quite affordable for the flagship phones. The base model starts at around $500 while the Pro version goes for $700.

Specifications

Display

Vivo X60 has a 6.56-inch AMOLED Display, with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels. This incredible display features a 120HZ refresh rate, HDR10+, and has an 87.4% screen-to-body ratio. It doesn’t have any kind of protection such as Gorilla Glass. The pro version of the new Vivo phone has the same display, the only difference is that it has a 90.1% screen-to-body ratio.

Camera

The base model of the Vivo X60 series has a triple camera setup on the back: 48MP main shooter, 13MP portrait camera with 2x optical zoom, and 13 MP ultra-wide camera. Those cameras feature Zeiss optics, Led Flash, HDR, and panorama. The phone itself can shoot 4k videos at 30 fps using the back camera system. The pro version has all of the above but joined with the fourth 8MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. They both have a single 32MP selfie camera that features HDR and can shoot 1080p videos at 30 fps.

Configuration

These incredible smartphones are equipped with Exynos 1080, which is one of the best high-end chipsets to compare its almost as good as Snapdragon 888. Vivo X60 has 8GB of ram while the pro version comes with 12GB of RAM. About the storage, the base model comes with either 128GB or 256GB of storage, and the pro model comes with 256GB of storage. Storage could be a problem for you since it’s not expandable through an SD card.

Battery capacity

Vivo X60 comes with a 4300 mAh battery capacity, while the Pro model comes with 4200 mAh. Both of the phones support 33W fast charging, which means they can recharge in less than an hour.

AnTuTu benchmark

AnTuTu is a Benchmark app for android users. It gives your device an overall numerical score as well as an overall score for each test it performs. It’s useful for comparing your device’s speed and performance with other options on the market.

According to AnTuTu scores, the Vivo X60 series will have a score of approximately 616k which is better than 98% of the phones available on the market.

Which one you should buy?

The Vivo X60 series phones are excellent flagship smartphones. They have one of the best 5G chipset overall great specs and an excellent 120HZ display. They have one of the best cameras for that price range. Vivo X60 Pro is better in terms of cameras than the base model. So if you have a higher budget we recommend you to go with Vivo X60 Pro because of the better cameras. But if you want to save some cash Vivo X60 has the same specs as Vivo X60 Pro the only difference is in cameras.
