Samsung announced the new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE in September and released it on October 02. It comes in 6 color variants: Cloud Lavender, Cloud Mint, Cloud Navy, Cloud White, Cloud Red, and Cloud Orange. At first glance, this phone makes a very good impression.. That’s because it doesn’t feel like a lite version of some flagship. It has almost everything like the regular S20 but at a lower price. It costs only $699 that is $300 less than the original Samsung Galaxy S20.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Design

This phone really stands out in the crowd with its six exotic color options. Samsung has tried to change a few things as possible on the phone to make it cheaper. The things that have changed are the design of the phone itself and the materials from which it is made. The back of the phone is made of polycarbonate plastic instead of glass, but the job is done so well that in hand it feels almost like a glass. The S20 FE itself has thicker bezels than the S20, but once you start using the phone those things are almost imperceptible. In terms of design, the FE version has a smaller cutout for the front camera than the normal S20.

Specifications

Display

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE comes with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display having a screen resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. It has a great viewing experience where the pixel density of 407 PPI adds crispness and clarity. The display comes with a bezel-less design and a 120HZ refresh rate.

Camera Quality

New Galaxy S20 FE has a triple-camera system on the back: 12MP main camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and 8 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. This phone can shoot 4k videos at 30/60fps, and 1080p at 30/60 fps. On the front, a new Samsung phone has a single 32 MP selfie camera. The selfie camera can shoot videos at 4k@30/60fps and at 1080p@30fps.

Configuration

The New Samsung Galaxy S20 phone is provided with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Which will offer the best performance for gaming and other usages. It has an Adreno 650 GPU, which is great for the graphical effects while 6GB or 8GB of RAM will handle both gaming and multitasking easily. It comes with 128GB or 256 GB of storage, and memory is expandable through an SD card.

Battery

The Galaxy S20 FE has a 4500mAh Li-Po battery which will last more than a day of usage. It also comes with a 25W fast charger, which can recharge your battery from 0%-100% in just around an hour. It supports 15W fast wireless charging and 4.5W reverse charging.

AnTuTu benchmark

AnTuTu is a Benchmark app for android users. It gives your device an overall numerical score as well as an overall score for each test it performs. It’s useful for comparing your device’s speed and performance with other options on the market. According to rumors about AnTuTu scores, Google Pixel 5 got a score of around 515k points which is better than 96% of the smartphones available.

Should you buy it?

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is first and foremost a great phone that will give you a flagship experience at a lower price. It comes with excellent specifications, 120HZ display, triple-camera system 12MP + 12MP + 8MP with HDR, LED FLASH, and panorama. The phone will come with an Android 10, 32MP front camera, a huge 4500mAh battery, and a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display. So if you are looking to buy a flagship phone and save some money you should definitely consider buying this one.
