There is no more mystery! Google is holding a product event on September 30, and they say that new Pixel phones will be revealed at that time. A lot of other products like the new Chromecast and new speakers will also be announced at that time. We are now very close to the launch but the Google Japan Twitter account seemingly thought the phone had already launched, as it briefly posted some major details.

As you can see the phone has a punch-hole camera in the top left corner of the screen and what it looks to be an all-screen design. Aside the design the tweet mentioned Google Pixel 5 prices as well. It is expected to cost ¥74,800 in Japan and that is around $710.

Google Pixel 4a Specifications

Display

Google Pixel 5 comes with a 6.0-inch OLED display having a screen resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. It will have a great viewing experience where the pixel density of 432 PPI adds crispness and clarity. The display will come with a bezel-less design and a 90HZ refresh rate.

Camera Quality

Google Pixel 5 has a dual-camera system on the back: 12MP main camera and 16MP ultra-wide camera. This phone can shoot 4k videos at 30/60fps, and 1080p at 30/60/120/240 fps. On the front, a new Google phone has a single 8 MP selfie camera. The selfie camera can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps.

Configuration

The New Google Pixel 5 phone is provided with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. Which will offer one of the best performance for gaming and other usages. It has an Adreno 620 GPU, which is great for the graphical effects while 8GB of RAM will handle both gaming and multitasking easily. It comes with 128GB of storage, and memory won’t be expandable through an SD card.

Battery

The Google Pixel 5 has a 4080mAh Li-Po battery which should last more than a day of usage. It also comes with an 18W fast charger, which can recharge your battery from 0%-100% in just around an hour. It supports 15W fast wireless charging and 5W reverse charging.

AnTuTu benchmark

AnTuTu is a Benchmark app for android users. It gives your device an overall numerical score as well as an overall score for each test it performs. It’s useful for comparing your device’s speed and performance with other options on the market. According to rumors about AnTuTu scores, Google Pixel 5 got a score of around 275k points which is better than 86% of the smartphones available.

Software

The all-new Google Pixel 5 will come with the newest version of Android. Android 11 has finally arrived. The latest Android OS will come with many new features to help you communicate, control your connected devices & media, and some more control over your privacy and data. And if you’re using a Pixel 2 or above you’ll get additional features to organize and manage your phone, like app suggestions on the home screen based on your daily routines, and new overview actions that allow you to take a screenshot of an app and select text and images, and more.
